About The Luxe Buffet
The Luxe Buffet is a chinese restaurant in Burbank, California. It is listed at 701 W Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505, which places it among the local businesses of Burbank that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as buffet restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Burbank; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (909) 948-6886. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is facebook.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 1,127 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Burbank is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

1 1/2 minute read: Weโve been New Town Buffet customers for years, but stopped going due to they closed on account of COVID. Theyโre open again. They have a good variety to offer. Look at the photos, to get an idea. The Staff is limited in English, so be patient when dealing with them. They work just as hard as you do. Parking is plentiful. If you live in the Valley and crave good Chinese food, New Town Buffet may do the trick. Thanks Thanks๐๐๐ฝ

I have come here on and off since the 1990s, and never thought that much about it other than the fact that it is a really good deal as long as you can stomach the food. Well, I just went there recently with my brother, and I was nearly in shock at how much this place has improved from whatever was my last visit. The variety, the quality, even the atmosphere, everything about this place is better than before, way better. Previously, I never thought I would ever want to come back here unless it was just because I was with someone who wanted to eat here, but now I do want to return! In fact, I'm looking forward to the next time! And I will be sure to bring a friend to share the experience with. To the management, good, good job! Now I wish I had one of these where I live. At least I get to visit Burbank a few times a year. [Update 10/16/2022] I am still utterly amazed at how much food this place serves. In my youth, I may have been able to sample some of everything they serve in their bountiful buffet, but it's out of the question today. The food is pretty high quality besides, so you can look forward to both quantity and quality when you eat here. Bring a huge appetite and give yours

Havenโt been here in years, they closed for 18 months during the worst of Covid and recently just reopened. The food selection was great, their ice cream has to be scooped out instead of the usual soft served. Food is generally good but I have to mention their fried chickenโฆit looked big but when I bit into it, the breaded part (flour) was 50% of the thickness and the chicken itself look unappetizing Service was friendly and professional. Process is a little different here, you pay the cashier when you come in, the waiter will tape your receipt to your table, then you go get your food, they have signs to warn you against wasting food (they will charge you extra) They also charge you 10% service fee for group of 2 or more.

The worst buffet. Awful service. Unsanitary conditions for restrooms, seating areas, as well as the food area. Really disappointed with the place. They charge $20.00 plus tax(dont waste your money here), per person.... but they wanted to charge a family seating next to us $35 per person(they were 5!) Claiming they ate too much sea food!!!!! The waitresses along with the manager made them, us, and everybody around had a very uncomfortable moment. I tipped our waitress with 5 dollars, and she stood there surprised..and looking at me like "is that it?"...i couldn't believe it, specially after the disappointed service. She also brought the receipt before we even touched the desserts, like if they wanted to kick us out....
